This is a Court approved Receiver's Sale of the Personal Property of "C-GAS, LLC" to be sold in its entirety as a package at an auction conducted by Country Boys Auction & Realty, Inc. This auction will be held live on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 10:00am at the Law Offices of George Oliver located at 405 Middle Street in New Bern, NC. There will be no online bidding available.
The assets being sold are specifically listed below and include approximately (14) trucks & vehicles, (6) large bulk storage/distribution tanks, and over 3,500 LP tanks ranging in size from 57 gallons to 1,000 gallons located at the C-Gas storage facility in Kinston, NC and at residential and commercial customer locations in Lenoir and surrounding counties (tank locations is available with certain criteria requirements).
An opening bid in the amount of $1,808,342.00 has already been placed. A minimum "overbid" bid raise of 15% (2,079,593.30) is required to "upset" the existing opening bid. If an "overbid" or "Bid raise" in this amount is received, bidding will continue at the live auction until a last and final bid amount is attained. All interested bidding parties must qualify to attend this auction by 5:00pm on Friday, August 21, 2026.
